Nexus PMG was engaged to provide front-end engineering services for a Green Hydrogen facility in the Southwest United States.
Nexus PMG was selected to support a facility on rural lands expected to produce 5,000 metric tons per year of green hydrogen utilizing solid oxide technology. Under the team’s guidance, the facility’s green hydrogen is expected to meet the achievable production tax credits for the production of clean hydrogen under Section 45V of the Inflation Reduction Act.
From site selection to feedstock selection, Nexus PMG played a role in designing a supply chain to ensure a seamless delivery of green hydrogen to offtakers. The team completed a FEED package to facilitate an EPC RFP process and supported the USDA 9003 application process.
In addition, the team assessed over 1,000 acres of land adjacent to the project for the integration of additional renewable opportunities including solar and battery storage.
In the near future, Nexus PMG will provide Owner’s Engineering and project management consultant services as well as support for the facility’s construction and commissioning.
