Nexus PMG Opens Office in Greenville, SC to Support New Business Line
Nexus PMG opened its third office location in Greenville, South Carolina on October 1st, 2018 in response to an increasing demand for technical expertise from investors, developers, and owners who trust Nexus PMG to deliver the projects that drive their growth. The Greenville office will specialize in engineering and project development services in the industrial and infrastructure markets.
The office is situated in the rapidly growing North Main area of downtown Greenville. The Greenville area was chosen as being long-recognized as one of the largest engineering hubs in the U.S. As the office continues to hire highly talented engineering resources across multiple industries, the operation will act as Nexus PMG’s center of excellence for engineering and development services.
“Growing our technical services offering has been a strategic vision for several years,” says Chris Hart, EVP of Operations. “Our long-standing experience in project development coupled with our growing, multi-discipline engineering team uniquely positions the company to provide a complete package of front-end design and development services to the industry.”
The Greenville location is off to a strong start, with exciting projects in the works. The office recently signed a contract to perform full development services including site selection, front-end engineering, feedstock negotiations and offtake negotiations for a food products company in the Southeast U.S. Nexus PMG also plans to leverage its financial modeling and investment memoranda experience along with its lender relationships to assist developers in raising project capital.
Operations in Greenville are being led by engineering and construction leader, RL Simpson. As the former Director of Project Operations at Jacobs, Simpson brings a broad range of engineering experience in the mining and metals, pulp and paper, and biomass industries making him an excellent fit to lead Nexus PMG’s newest branch.
