Within the past decade, North Texas native Ben Hubbard has built his low-carbon infrastructure-project advisory and development firm into a company serving more than 100 investors, developers and corporations collectively hold more than $1 trillion of global assets under management.
Having previously worked for engineering firm Fluor on projects in Saudi Arabia and Mongolia, Hubbard and his team have made their name as exports in sustainable infrastructure advancements such as reclamation of waste products, carbon capture, sustainable aviation fuels and organic waste stream-to-compost processes. Under Hubbard’s watch, Nexus Holdings last year closed on a $50 million growth equity investment from Greenbacker Development Corporation, Liberty Mutual and Ontario Power Generation Pension Fund.
