Nexus PMG was engaged to provide a phase-gated approach with the primary objective of cost-effectively developing the solid waste and pig iron facilities to the point of being underwritten. Phase 1 consisted of project development services including the review of key tasks such as feedstock, siting, logistics, permits, a market assessment, and developed a project execution plan and procurement strategy to optimize our logically driven schedule. Lastly, within Phase 1 we provided an execution strategy to ensure our client received top-quality service at all levels of our matrix-style organization to ensure efficient and clear communication was achieved. Our scope in Phase 2 was to complete a full FEED Package that included deliverables such as general arrangements, detailed P&ID’s, facility-level single line drawings, mass & energy balance, equipment performance specifications, and identifying/selecting major equipment and technology providers.
